Inaugural Art Southampton to Host Intimate Evening to Benefit The Watermill Center


Art Southampton presented by Art Miami will host a very special evening to benefit The Watermill Center, located in Watermill, New York. On Friday, July 27, internationally acclaimed director and Watermill Center Founder Robert Wilson, will host a VIP reception followed by a screening of "HEAARTBEAT" a documentary on world renowned artist John Chamberlain created by his step-daughter Alexandra Fairweather. The screening will help launch the Watermill Center/John Chamberlain Residency Fund to benefit the Center's year-round Artist Residency Program, which provides a unique environment for young and emerging artists to explore and develop their work. Susan Davidson, Senior Curator, Collections and Exhibitions at the Guggenheim Museum who recently curated the Museum's retrospective on the artist will speak about John Chamberlain's life and work. The Inaugural edition of Art Southampton presented by Art Miami will take place July 26-30 on the Elks Lodge fairgrounds 605 County Road 39, Southampton.
